In a dual presentation with Terry Lee, Becki will take an in-depth look into the business of blogging. You will receive:
- Pointers on the art of negotiation, strategy and the management of relationships between influencers and Destination Marketing Organisations.
- A case study on Becki’s 12-month ‘Year in Austria’ campaign – the first of its kind in the professional blogging industry. This will include information on pitching and successful implemention.
- How Becki came to be (and continues to be) a country spokesperson without being an ‘expat blogger’.
Becki is a British travel press award-winning writer at Borders of Adventure and now calls Austria home. Before delving into the world of storytelling, Becki began her career in consumer PR, having represented some of the biggest consumer brands at some of the UK’s leading international PR consultancies for nearly a decade. Her work, through adventure-culture narrative, focuses on changing perceptions and shedding light on the misunderstood aspects of particular destinations or entire countries – merging the art of brand communication with storytelling and exploration, and harnessing the power of ‘place branding’. She is a spokesperson for Austria travel and one of the core ambassadors for G Adventures and their ‘Wanderers’ programme.
