Propelling your blogging career
The Propel Conference is the premier event for intermediate level bloggers wanting to increase their skills and advance to the next level.
The conference objectives are two-fold:
- Provide you with tips on how to create quality content.
- Share strategies to help you realise the value of that content.
It is brought to you by Sarah & Terry Lee, and many of the team at Captivate. We certainly know all about professional blogging, because we’ve been running successful blogs and social channels since 2010. Click to find out more about us.
We intend for you to gain the greatest benefit from the event. This means we will be restricting the number of attendees to just 20 bloggers/content creators.
Propel is the best blogging conference because it includes workshops with speakers already successfully doing what you wish to achieve, be that earning a regular income through blog campaigns, monetising via affiliate sales or creating super content. Furthermore, we provide one-to-one-advice in our PRO Sessions where you can talk with the experts and get specific assistance.
But Propel isn’t only a conference for travel bloggers – we welcome bloggers from a wide range of niches.
The bottom line is, if you want to be a professional blogger you will need to earn an income, and we give you the business skills and mindset needed to succeed. See what people said about the previous Propel Conference…
All the facts you need
Sadly we needed to postpone the 2020 conference in Vorarlberg due to the coronavirus pandemic, however the Propel Conference will now take place over three days, with a two-day post trip to follow, from September 27-October 3, 2021. The breakdown of dates is as follows:
September 27: Arrival date
September 28-30: Conference dates
September 30-October 2/3: Post trips around the Vorarlberg region (exact date TBC)
How much is it to attend the Propel Conference?
We have waived fees for bloggers to attend Propel, and your accommodation, meals and flights from London, plus flights from mainland Europe, will also be covered thanks to our sponsors Vorarlberg Tourism and Austrian National Tourist Office (other flight routes may be possible – contact us on the email below if you have a query).
That’s right, it will cost you nothing to attend Propel. All we ask in exchange is that you also attend the post trips, produce two pieces of content for your blog or YouTube channel, and use your social media platforms to share the great experiences you will have in Vorarlberg.
Post-trip itineraries are still being developed, but we will announce them as soon as they are confirmed.
Accommodation in Vorarlberg
Your accommodation in Vorarlberg is covered, and you will be staying at the conference venue – the relaxing boutique Hotel Bären, located in the heart of the small town of Mellau, on a bed and breakfast basis. However, you certainly won’t go hungry the rest of the time, as lunches and meals in the evenings are also covered, leaving you the chance to focus on learning, networking and soaking up Vorarlberg’s big mountain views. There are also some rooms at the nearby Hotel Hubertus, but the majority of attendees will stay at Hotel Bären.
How to apply
We have 20 places available and are looking for serious bloggers/content creators. Perhaps you have a day job and are desperately hoping to take the leap into full-time blogging. Or perhaps you are already blogging full-time but want to harness strategies that will help your business to grow.
All we ask from you is a willingness to learn, a desire to progress to the next level, and to attend with a mind open to sharing and networking with like-minded folk.
